Welcome
A New Look. The Counseling Office has a new look! The college, military, and general counseling information has been organized into a “user-friendly” layout. Stop by the counseling office to see our new look and gather some helpful information.
Technology. We have added a computer in counseling office for access to college information and applications, scholarships, and financial aid information. Coming soon, we will have a counseling department page on the CCS website with important links and information about the counseling department and programs.
Counseling groups. The counselors are beginning to run counseling groups to help students will personal and school-related issues.
Scholarship Information. Seniors have received a handout listing some current scholarships to apply for. Additional scholarship handouts are still available in the counseling office. An updated list will be coming out during the second semester.
Financial Aid. As of January 1, 2009, seniors can fill out their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms online. Grants and loans are available to college-bound seniors from the government, but you must fill out the FAFSA form to apply and receive the grants and loans.
Questions. Please sign up to see Ms. Dalton (Student last names L-Z) for any questions regarding your schedule, graduation requirements, college/scholarship information, community service hours, or any personal issues.
We are here to help you become the best you can be!
